Park Alliance Church, Fort Myers

Park Alliance Church, located in Fort Myers, FL, is looking for a part-time worship leader. This individual will work closely with the lead pastor as they prayerfully plan weekly services. Our goal is to glorify God, through exalting the name of Jesus and leading our people as they worship the Lord.

The primary responsibilities of the worship pastor would be to plan and lead worship practices and services, be able to clearly communicate with the worship team, meet weekly with the lead pastor, and be familiar with ProPresenter to prepare Sunday presentations. This individual should most importantly prioritize their personal walk with the Lord, while loving and working to edify the body of Christ.

This is a bi-vocational position as this position is part-time (12-15 hours/week). Individuals interested, should have a minimum of a college degree with some experience leading worship. It is preferred that the individual have some familiarity with The Alliance.

Fort Myers, Florida is located on Florida’s west coast. According to Travel + Leisure and U.S. News & World Report, Fort Myers is the fastest growing city among the top 150 major U.S. cities. Fort Myers is known for its deep-sea fishing, golf courses and white sand beaches.

Edgewater Alliance Church, Edgewater

Edgewater Alliance Church, Edgewater, FL, is looking for someone to fill the role of Family Pastor. The individual suited for this position should be able to contextualize and implement a missional discipleship strategy for family ministry that serves kids, students, families, and the unreached in our community. The Family Pastor will be the face of Family Ministries at Edgewater Alliance Church by providing visionary leadership in three key areas: Kids Ministry, Youth Ministry, and ministry to the whole family.

This individual should have a Godly character and a Christ-Centered life formed around apprenticeship to Jesus with a clear calling to minister to kids, youth, and their families. A bachelor’s degree with three years of experience providing pastoral ministry to children, youth, and families is preferred. This individual should also have the applicable theological training as required for accreditation with The Alliance and be in close theological alignment with The Christian and Missionary Alliance.

Edgewater, Florida is located along the Intracoastal waterfront on the east coast of Florida in Southeast Volusia County. Edgewater offers over 150 acres of parks with walking trails, paddling trails, fishing, boating, and bird watching. It is conveniently located close to Kennedy Space Center, Port Canaveral, Daytona Beach, and Orlando.

The Village Church at Shell Point

The Village Church (TVC) located at the Shell Point Retirement Community (SPRC) in Fort Myers, FL, is searching for their next Minister of Worship and Music. They are looking for someone who can bring glory to God through the music ministries of The Village Church in corporate worship and providing Christian nurture through the ministry of music.

This individual should have a theological understanding of worship and church ministry along with an appreciation of the varied denominational backgrounds of the members of TVC. Candidates should have a music degree with an emphasis in church music, music education, performance, composition, directing, or worship arts. They should have at least 10 years of experience directing and developing excellence in traditional church choirs along with the ability to direct both vocal and instrumental ensembles. It is preferred that candidates are credentialed through The Christian and Missionary Alliance or another like-minded evangelical denomination.

The Village Church is a congregation located within the Shell Point Retirement Community (SPRC) – the largest continuous care retirement community in Florida. SPRC is owned and accredited by The Christian & Missionary Alliance, a theologically conservative protestant denomination, although residents have religious backgrounds in more than 30 Christian denominations, several other religions, and no religion.

TVC is a vibrant senior community with attendance ranging from 450-500 in the winter season to 300-350 in the summer, with an estimated twenty percent watching on Shell Point Television from their residences. The ministry emphasizes strong expository preaching, excellence in music in both traditional and contemporary expressions, extensive small group Bible studies, outreach into the SPRC, service in the greater Fort Myers community, and a strong emphasis on international ministries.
